Introduction -- Siebel (CRM)

Hi All,

My name is Raveendra. I’m a Siebel Professional.

I am interested in starting a Siebel Blog here for all siebel guys.

People of every type and age will be welcome to view this.

Just created this blog to give introduction about Siebel and to discuss the real time scenarios.

Siebel eBusiness Enterprise Applications enable users to share and manage all relevant information about customers, products, competitors, and markets. Sales professionals use Siebel applications to manage accounts and opportunities and review information about products, prices, and competitors.
Customer service professionals use Siebel applications to track customer problems, access online knowledge-bases to resolve problems, and automatically assign service requests to agents with the appropriate levels of expertise. Managers use Siebel applications to analyze the sales pipeline, generate forecasts, and see current measurements of customer satisfaction in service organizations.

The MidMarket edition is built upon Siebel’s web-based architecture and shares the same look and feel as Siebel Enterprise. In this course, technical differences between the MidMarket and Enterprise editions will be identified.

In general, the MidMarket Edition offering is much simpler than the Enterprise offering. However, the MidMarket Edition product line fully addresses the needs of the three target audiences for a multi-channel, eBusiness application: customers, partner, and your employees.

Siebel eBusiness is a multi-channel eBusiness solution that enables organizations to manage all customer touch-points via email, telephone, fax, field, or the Web. Customer touch-points are synchronized through one central information repository, one database, one tool set, and one architecture regardless of doing interactions via call center, field services, channel partners or the Web.

Will discuss more in detail soon.....................

Your comments are most welcome.
